Event website in the style of Ferranti: Boost25

Drive the Change

Client: Boost25

We helped with: Webdevelopment

Designed by Ferranti, developed by BeMarketing

From time to time, we collaborate with external designers while we focus solely on the development. We’re absolutely open to that approach. For the Boost25 website, the Ferranti team themselves came forward with the web design. We used their design work as the foundation to build a strong event website. During development, the website evolved beyond the original design, and we also had the opportunity to contribute a range of design elements ourselves. A great collaboration between both teams!

WordPress transformed into an event management system

Alongside our own work, Ferranti’s marketing team was heavily involved in managing the website’s content. To support them, we created a series of Custom Post Types that are connected to each other through bi-directional links. In plain terms: speakers, sessions, panel discussions, event days, and more are all interconnected through automatic linking. This allows website visitors to easily navigate between different types of pages.

To be continued: the website remains active after the event

Boost25 is now behind us, but Ferranti is of course planning future editions of this event. That’s why the website https://empoweringsmartutilities.com/ will remain in use. Boost25 attendees were given access to a hidden page with exclusive content filmed during the event. And Ferranti’s marketing team regularly publishes videos and other content in the media center.
