IO Biotech – Corporate website for a phase 3 Biotech company
A new, secure corporate website for a biotech company that was heading to the stock exchange
Client: IO Biotech
We helped with: Graphic Design, Webdesign, Webdevelopment
The Client
IO Biotech is a publicly traded phase 3 biotech company developing novel, immune-modulating cancer therapies based on their T-win® technology platform.
Since 5 November 2021, IO Biotech has been listed on the NASDAQ. A stock market launch we have been working towards with the IO Biotech team.

The Challenge
In the run-up to their listing, the IO Biotech team was looking for a regular party who could take on web development. Thus began our conversations with Mikkel Dybkjær, then VP of Corporate Finance.
During our conversations, it soon became clear that their old Joomla website needed a thorough overhaul. The IO Biotech team was also looking for more than just a website builder. In the Biotech world, things move fast. Therefore, for a company like IO Biotech, website maintenance and quick support after launch are high on the wish list.

Our solution
Our proposal was warmly received. We chose a custom design for IO Biotech, built in the WordPress CMS.
Between the corporate and investor relations sites, we created an integration that automatically synchronises news items.

The Result
We launched the revamped IO Biotech website more than 2 months before their IPO, the final deadline.
In addition, the entire IO Biotech team enjoys quick follow-up on all their enquiries. We realise even now, almost a year after website launch, updates and publication of press releases on the same working day of request.
Finally, the website is in good hands. After 10,000’s of hack attempts, which is not unusual for a biotech company, the website is as squeaky clean as it was at launch. This is thanks to our weekly maintenance, strict security measures and a real-time firewall.
